The Food, Development and Society PGR-ECR Network organises knowledge exchange, capacity building, and networking opportunities for PGRs and ECRs who are researching the food system from a social science perspective. To join the network, please register using this link.
In collaboration with the Global Food and Environment Institute (GFEI) and the Social Policy Association, they are organising a Postgraduate Conference on Food Systems and the Environment on 17 March 2026 at the University of Leeds.
This one-day interdisciplinary in-person conference aims to bring together PGRs working across the interdisciplinary field of food systems – including environmental, business, and social science aspects – for knowledge exchange, skills development, challenge engagement and networking. Key activities include flash presentations, skills workshop, and challenge tables.
