‘Social Policy ahead of the next General Election’: Social Policy and Society Annual Event [hybrid, Friday 7th June]

The VII Annual meeting and lecture of the journal ‘Social Policy and Society’ (SPS) will take place on Friday 7th June 2024 at the University of Derby.

The event is supported by the Social Policy Association (SPA) and Cambridge University Press, and will be hosted by the Centre for Applied Social Sciences, Policy, Practice and Research (CASSPPR) at the University of Derby.

This will be a hybrid event, though we warmly encourage SPA members, and SPS readers and contributors to join in person if they can for an opportunity to network and get to know each other.

This special event is organised in collaboration with the SPA Social Policy Groups, with the aim of reviewing and discussing key policy challenges in the UK ahead of the next General Election.
