Event: SPA Pension Policy Group annual public event on Wednesday, 20th May 3pm – 4:30pm

This year’s public online event from the SPA’s Pension Policy Group focuses on the topic of the state pension age. Our main speaker is Dr Suzy Morrissey FCA, Deputy Director of the Pensions Policy Institute and recently the Independent Reviewer the third State Pension Age review. Suzy’s career includes working in both the public and private sectors across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

During this online public event chaired by Prof Liam Foster, co-lead of the SPA’s Pension Policy Group, Suzy will draw on her broad experience to discuss perspectives on state pension age policy, reflecting on the connections to patterns of work and well-being over the life course and different international approaches. The chair will kick off the discussion with comments on the implications and considerations for academic research, before opening to questions from attendees.
