This year’s SPA conference will held at the University of Nottingham from the 5th to the 7th of July. The conference and accommodation will be completely on the University campus in very attractive surroundings. We are now able to announce the first set of speakers for the conference. Following the developing tradition of recent years, we will have a panel discussion on the conference theme to open the conference. This year the panel speakers will be: Emma Wincup – Joseph Rowntree FoundationJoanna Mack – Editor of Journal of Poverty and Social JusticeAlison Garnham – Child Poverty Action GroupProf. Nasar Meer – University of EdinburghGregory Thwaites – Resolution FoundationShabna Begum – Runneymede FoundationOur first keynote plenary will be delivered on the second day:Danny Dorling, Halford Mackinder Professor of Geography, University of Oxford.
